PLANS INCLUDE
1. Floor Plan(s) showing walls, doors, windows, appliances, plumbing fixture locations, dimensions, and door and window schedules.
2. Exterior Elevations showing the exterior faces of the building, typically being four (front, rear, left side, right side). Materials are specified as to type.
3. Interior Elevations showing cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms. Shelving and niches may be included, as applicable.
4. Electrical Plan showing lights, switches, outlets, and recommended panel location.
5. Sections transverse and/or longitudinal sections for detailing structural materials and components, insulation, floor to ceiling dimensions, and structural details.
6. Foundation Plan showing footers, stem walls, dimensions, and details, or a monolithic concrete slab may be alternatively used in many locations.
7. Floor Framing Plan(s) showing floor joist sizes and spacing.
8. Roof Framing Plan showing truss or rafter size, layout, and spacing. Roof slope is specified.
9. Fill-in-the-blanks specifications for the “shopping list” for you or your builder. This is not a materials list.
